Cool Wave Air Conditioning was founded by Dave — the same Dave behind Chiltern Computers, the independent repair business serving Harold Hill and Romford. Years of computer repair teach you a particular way of working: diagnose before you touch anything, measure instead of guessing, and never hand something back until you’d be happy taking it home yourself.

Air conditioning rewards exactly that mindset. A split system is a precision machine — refrigerant charges weighed in grams, pressure tests, vacuum readings, electrical checks — and the difference between a system that purrs for fifteen years and one that limps for five is almost always the care taken on day one.

Why bungalows, why multi-splits

Rather than being average at everything, Cool Wave Air Conditioning specialises in the installation where quality shows most: multi-split systems in bungalows and single-storey homes. • Survey first, always. Free, unhurried, and honest about what you don’t need.

• By-the-book refrigerant work. Pressure tested, deep-vacuumed, weighed, recorded — every install, every time, as the F-Gas regulations require.

Refrigerant work is regulated for good reason, and Cool Wave Air Conditioning is being built certification-first — formal F-Gas qualification and company registration before the first system goes on a wall. It’s the slower way to start a business and the only honest one.
